B is for Birds

Thursday, October 5, 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm
Wheeler Memorial Library

Discover the amazing world of birds in this interactive program. Listen to a bird story, then examine bird biofacts including feathers and nests. Explore how birds use their beaks like tools! This program is best for children ages 3 - 8 and their families.

This program is presented by Kathy Kennedy, Education Coordinator with Mass Audubon. Kathy has more than 20 years of experience leading nature-based programs at museums, zoos, and Mass Audubon sanctuaries. Based at Mass Audubon’s Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary, Kathy enjoys teaching families, schools, and community groups about science and our natural world. Her love of all things science and nature stems from childhood family experiences in the outdoors.
